Two individuals, including a student were reportedly shot on Wednesday at a New York high school.

According to Fox affiliate WUTV, the shooting took place at McKinley High School just after 3:30 p.m. According to the Buffalo Police Department, officers were on the scene and advised motorists not to go there.
It wasn’t immediately clear whether the shooting took place inside or outside the school. According to media reports, the other person who was shot was a security guard.

Shortly after the shots were fired, SUNY Buffalo State College issued a shelter-in-place order.
The university tweeted that “University Police received a report about an armed person close to campus.” “Last seen at McKinley High School, Elmwood Ave heading towards number 198. Shelter immediately.
