President Vladimir Putin called a provocation the rumors about Russia’s transition to a distance learning format. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
“All the rumors and stuffing that distance education will replace or displace full-time, <…> considered as a blatant provocation”, – said Putin.
The President has assured that traditional schools and universities are closed. He stressed that the Russian education system not only teaches, but also forms the personality, but also conveys the values and traditions of the society. According to Putin, the “distance learning” will not replace live communication of the teacher and student.
I wrote “the Rambler”, in the remote Russian students will have to prepare for the exam: the exam will take place on June 29. However, the academic year in schools and universities plan to start on 1 September in a traditional, face-to-face format.
