Putin appointed Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Egypt

The President of Russia Vladimir Putin has appointed Georgy Borisenko, the Russian Ambassador in Egypt, a decree published on the official Internet portal of legal information.

According to information on the website of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Georgy Borisenko was head of North America (DSA).

"Assign Borisenko George E. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in the Arab Republic of Egypt", – the document says.

In addition, according to another decree, Georgy Borisenko was concurrently appointed as the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the League of Arab States in Cairo.
