Tour operators in conversation with "Rossiyskaya Gazeta" commented on the list of countries with which the CPS recommended to resume flights.

The General Director of TUI Russia Taras Demura said that the opening of these countries support the tourist industry, which was severely damaged during the pandemic. According to him, the list would be good to add popular tourist destinations: Turkey, Cyprus, Greece and Spain.

General Director of PEGAS Touristik Anna Podgornaya expressed surprise at the list because no country it’s not been said it is ready to accept Russian tourists.

From the point of view of Podgornaya, it would be logical to include in the list of States that have already agreed to take of Russian citizens, for example, Bulgaria, Turkey and Greece.

Previously, the CPS has written to the Ministry of transport and Rosaviation the list of 13 countries for the first phase of restoration of international flights. The list includes great Britain, Hungary, Germany, Denmark, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Finland, Vietnam, China, Mongolia and Sri Lanka.
