“Nornikel” is not allowed by Duma Deputy Sergei Mitrokhin to take out of the Norilsk samples of contaminated water and soil, which he had tried to send for examination at the request of “Novaya Gazeta”.

As reports the edition, the Deputy was stopped in the Norilsk airport employees of aviation security service boarding a flight to Novosibirsk. It turned out that he received an anonymous call that the plane smuggle fuel and lubricants.

According to employees, the Deputy had to issue a permit to export samples to the security Department “Norilsk Nickel”, — reports the edition.

It is noted that the samples were taken by ecologists in the presence of correspondents from lake Pyasino and the river Pyasina. Now the samples are still in Norilsk. Mitrokhin flew to Moscow without them.

Also the correspondent of the publication complained of constant monitoring and surveillance by the police and “volunteers”. Against them even tried to draw up a Protocol on violation of the quarantine, despite the decree of the Governor of the region that the work of those people who are engaged in disaster not subject to any restrictions. In this regard, the newspaper will appeal to the Investigative Committee and the Commissioner for human rights Tatyana Moskalkova.

Representatives of the Ministry of emergency situations reported about the incident on may 29, 2020.
