Chairman of “United Russia” Dmitry Medvedev congratulated all Russians on the occasion of spring and labor, may day. On this day he held a meeting on improving labour legislation. Opening the meeting, he recalled the historical basis on May 1.
“This is the struggle of workers for their rights and that’s a fact. Therefore, the Russian trade unions are paying to this date the most serious attention,” – said Medvedev. Medvedev said that the pandemic contributed to the overall plan unavoidable adjustments: had to cancel the traditional may day rallies and marches.
