Masks in the Moscow subway could have been giving away for free, said the Deputy of the state Duma Dmitry Svishchev.

He supported the decision of the authorities of Moscow about the sale of personal protective equipment in the subway, and noted that their implementation there “will push the idea of self-defense”, RIA “Novosti”.

“Also proposed to the Moscow government to organize the free distribution of masks on public transport. Better, in my opinion, at relatively low cost disposable mask to provide funds for them and thus reduce the number of cases, than not doing it, then splurge on a much more expensive treatment and the construction of hospitals,” he added.

Recall, the passengers of the Moscow metro starting next week, will be able to buy a mask in the stalls or stations.
