Sixteen-year-old European champion in women’s figure skating Alyona Kostina told that thinking about retirement.

In an interview, Olympic Channel, she told me that this can happen in two years. She also shared information about which profession you’d like to learn after retiring from the sport.

“In figure skating it is impossible to speak for up to 30 years and win, said Kostina. – You can go on a show and please the audience, but the first place you don’t want to take out a 15-year-old girls with the quadruple jumps. They have a lot of strength and energy, and you will not be able to win.”

the Skater has admitted that it intends to skate the following season, after which it expects “to realize the dream of a career medic”.

“Maybe I will appear in the show. I’ve always wanted to go to some huge tour per year, this is my dream. But then still will start realizing the dream of becoming a neurosurgeon,” she said.

Colornow in the past season debuted in adult competitions. She managed to win the European championship and become the winner of the final of the Grand Prix series. Following the award ceremony of the ISU Skating Award 16-year-old Russian is recognized as the best newcomer.
