by 2030 in the city-resort of Kislovodsk will be implemented the strategy of spatial development (master plan). The document was developed HOUSE.Of the Russian Federation and the Administration of Kislovodsk, together with design specialists in hand with the wishes of residents and guests of the city. The master plan outlines proposals for the development of a comfortable urban environment, infrastructure for recreation, the promotion of medical and health resort potential. Implementation of the plan will increase the number of tourists in Kislovodsk from 380 to 700 thousand people every year, expect the city authorities.

Ideas from residents and tourists was collected via the crowdsourcing platform which-wants-Kislovodsk.of the Russian Federation, launched with the support of the HOUSE.Of the Russian Federation. There were more than 550 proposals. Most of these proposals have been considered in the preparation of the master plan. The purpose of the spatial development strategy is to consolidate the city’s status as an international health resort. It is expected that the popularity of the city will use the 6 kinds of tourism: medical – and recreational-recreational, business, environmental, sports and medical. It is planned to build in the green belt of the city more than 35 km of new Cycling and walking routes, reduce harmful emissions, and to reform the public transport system to preserve the authentic appearance of the historic center. The implementation of the strategy is planned to be sent to 53.6 billion rubles.
