However, the researchers unearthed well-preserved remains of the bottle of perfume oil called “aryballos”. Previously, he dated VI-VII centuries BC. This sheds new light on the history of Pergamum. Scientists now suggest that the civilization in this region appeared earlier than was believed until now.
