According to the amended article 171 of the criminal code “Illegal entrepreneurship”, introduced criminal responsibility for the implementation of activities for the inspection of the vehicle without operator’s accreditation inspection in cases where the existence of such accreditation is required.
Now the entrepreneurs engaged in relevant activities without the appropriate accreditation, will face a fine of up to 300 thousand rubles or obligatory works for the term up to 480 hours, or arrest for a term up to six months.
According to the authors of the law, such measures will help to counteract the practice of mass registration cards without real diagnostic procedure inspection.
the Federal law “On amendments to article 171 of the Criminal code of the Russian Federation” was adopted in 2019, however, the criminal prosecution was postponed to July 27, 2020.
