Georg Kofler has separated from his current partner. The “Lion’s Den” investor confirmed the end of the relationship with a pragmatic statement.

“Lion’s Cave” investor Georg Kofler (65) and his partner Veronika Scholze (46) are separated. “It’s unfortunate, but better that way,” said the 65-year-old of the “Bild” newspaper.

According to the report, Kofler and his partner had been a couple for around three years. In 2019 he confirmed the relationship with Scholze. “A new chapter is just beginning in my book of life. I consider that to be very lucky,” said Kofler at the time.

Kofler was with his wife Christiane zu Salm (55) until 2018. Regarding the breakup, he said: “We realized that we just got along better as friends.”

Kofler, who was born in South Tyrol, is an investor in the Vox show “Die Höhle der Löwen”. From 1988 to 2000 he headed the television station ProSieben. Later, as CEO of Sky’s predecessor, Premiere, he spent several years at the helm of the Bundesliga’s long-standing pay-TV rights holder. Kofler has represented million-dollar investor Lars Windhorst on the supervisory board of Hertha BSC since 2021.
