Northwest wind promises rain
June 17, Orthodox Christians remember St. Mitrophan, Patriarch of Constantinople. On this day our ancestors have closely followed the winds. It was thought that in their area you can check the weather for the next few days.
Except for the wind, this day was made to draw attention to the rainbow. Its appearance in the East predicts good weather, and on the West by precipitation.
