“This is the first survey in the Park “Zaryadye” in the history of this Park. And I want to thank everyone who participated in this concert. This my friends, colleagues and most importantly – unique people: Yuri Bashmet, Hibla Gerzmava, Ildar Abdrazakov, Aida Garifullina, Andrei Ivanov, Alexander singer, Arkady Shilkloper, a whole galaxy of musicians “New names” and “the Blue bird”: Elisha mycin, Ivan Bessonov, Sonia Tyurina, Anastasia Tyurina,” – says Denis Matsuev.
He promised that online viewers will find many surprises and unusual repertoire.
“I’m not going to reveal all the secrets of the program, but the concert will be born on stage”, he added.
And how could it be otherwise, if the stage will connect two main passions Matsuev: classics and jazz, coupled with improvisation. For the quality sound will meet the team of the Moscow Philharmonic society, which Matsuev called one of the best in the world.

“At the moment events, including concerts, in Moscow yet. And it’s very sad: a living breathing hall, the chemistry is irreplaceable. But if there is a risk, we’ll wait. Health is more important”, – said Matsuev.
But he believes and hopes that August in Russia, can allow open-air, and fall gradually will start to revive a full concert life. Musicians have enlisted the support of the Ministry of culture, it is now up to the CPS.

One of the first allowed the concerts in Germany and Austria, however, limiting the number of viewers and asking the musicians to keep a distance of two meters on the stage. But China and Korea are still very cautious and in no hurry to open concert halls.
According to Matsuev, from the beginning of the pandemic it once was canceled 148 concerts and still very difficult to plan anything. Many traditional summer festivals are moved to the autumn or even the spring of 2021. So, for the spring was postponed the third international competition for young pianists, Grand Piano Competition.
“Grand Piano Competition postponed to spring next year and will be held on the same days. First we moved it to the last week of August, but has refused this idea, because right now nobody can guarantee the opening of borders in this period. And we have international actors, and everyone should be in equal conditions,” – explains the transfer date Matsuev.
But the festival “Stars on Baikal” will take place exactly. However, it is not clear in what format. Initial plans to scale to mark the 15th anniversary of the festival crossed the coronavirus. But Matsuev offers not to speculate on this topic because he believes that the exit will be found.
But to see the audience live Denis Matsuev counts in Sochi, where on 17 and 18 August will be a music festival Crescendo. And it will be one of the first major musical events with the audience in Russia since the beginning of the pandemic.
“Our Crescendo festival, which is traditionally held in the Winter theatre, will be held in the Olympic Park, it will be open-air, with the audience. I hope that the boundary will be possible to accommodate up to thousand people”, – he explained.
