Work on the reconstruction of Kakhovsky line of the Moscow metro, closed last year, are in accordance with the schedule next year it is planned to open as part of the Big circle line. This was reported on the website of the mayor and government capital.

According to the Deputy mayor of Moscow on urban policy and the construction of Andrei Bochkareva, who appreciated the reconstruction of the shortest line of the Moscow subway station “Kakhovskaya” now retooled entirely, completely for all building systems, all systems of motion.

During the renovation of this station has changed design — was applied the other colors. The style of the halls and stations will remain the same. According to Bochkareva, to reconstruct the station is more difficult than building new.

The shortest branch of the Moscow metro was closed in October last year. Her work has been discontinued forever. Before the reconstruction of the interval of movement of trains at stations Kakhovka branch was five minutes. After inclusion of this branch in the composition of the BKL the interval between trains will correspond to the graphics to the new ring line and the number of trains will increase significantly.

The first section of a Great circle line opened on 26 February 2018. Complete construction is planned before the end of 2022. On the line will have 31 stations. Its length will amount to nearly 70 miles — so the BKL will be the longest circular line in the world.
