The Ministry of science and higher education is considering increasing scholarships to the level of the minimum wage, writes TASS with reference to the Department.
"Ministry of education and science are working on various options for increasing scholarship support of students, including in relation to the state academic scholarships for students to the level of the minimum wage" – the Ministry said.
It is noted that such a decision will require additional budget allocations from the Federal budget. Now the minimum wage reaches 12 130 rubles.
