As if being promoted straight back to the Bundesliga wasn’t enough bliss, but now there’s even more good news for Werder Bremen. The North Germans cash in – and that was unexpected.

Werder in a frenzy: Werder Bremen is currently on a real high. After returning to the Bundesliga, Bielefeld central defender Amos Pieper was signed and now, according to a report in “Bild”, Werder is in for a real rain of money.

Back transfer payments: Managing Director Frank Baumann says to the “Bild”: “We have received a nice amount of back transfer payments for various players. Together with the players on loan, who will certainly be sold one or the other, we can cover most of the transfer proceeds that we have set as a goal.”

Blessings of millions: The picture speaks of additional income of around 3.5 million euros, which is made up of bonuses for use and success. Thus, Werder does not necessarily have to sell a top performer in the summer to be in good financial shape.

No extension yet – Neuer makes explosive demands during contract negotiations, which puts “Brazzo” under pressure

Uncomfortable superstar – Bayern’s search for reinforcement: Is Dembélé any better than Gnabry?
