American spacecraft Crew Dragon company SpaceX astronauts Douglas Hurley and Robert Behnken on Board went into orbit, said the representative space flight Center Kennedy during the broadcast of NASA.

The office Crew Dragon from the second stage rocket Falcon-9 occurred 12 minutes after launch from pad 39A launch site at Cape Canaveral (Florida). The vehicle docking with the International space station (ISS), is expected to occur in 19 hours, reports TASS.

Unlike cargo ships Dragon, which, after rendezvous with the ISS have captured a remote manipulator, Crew Dragon is equipped with an automatic docking system. At the stage of rendezvous with the space station astronauts will test the system by manual control of the ship.

We will remind, on Saturday evening the booster Falcon-9 spacecraft Crew Dragon launched from the spaceport at Cape Canaveral. The launch was carried out at the second attempt: on Wednesday, the launch was canceled 17 minutes before the estimated time due to adverse weather conditions in the area of the spaceport.
