Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov called the situation with the conflict settlement in the Donbass potentially very dangerous.

"You know what works the contact group, actively trying to find common ground. Where we manage to bring our positions closer, somewhere in there," he said on air of the First channel.

According to the spokesperson, sounding increasingly words about the unreliability or inability to implement the Minsk agreements can not but cause concern.

"If it will continue to sound more and if this will take the form of a brand of official statements, of course, it will make the situation a stalemate," he added.

However, the other channel to work on the Ukrainian direction does not exist, said Peskov.

Minsk agreements on settlement of the situation in the East of Ukraine provide for a ceasefire, withdrawal of heavy weapons from the frontline and constitutional reform, key elements of which are the decentralization and the adoption of the law on the special status individual regions of Donetsk and Lugansk regions. However, this plan is still not completed.

At the same time Ukrainian politicians always delay the implementation of "Minsk-2" and even claim that this action plan is only Advisory and not mandatory. Russian foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov recalled that the Russian position is to strictly comply with the Minsk agreement, and that they were signed by all, including representatives of Kiev, Donetsk and Lugansk, and approved by the UN security Council.
