The Russian Communists did not want to repent for the transfer to Ukraine of the Crimea and Sevastopol after the call of the speaker of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin. The Communist party reminded the chair of the lower house of Parliament that it was internal rotation of the territories.

It noted that a politician has the opportunity to “make some political statements”, but in this matter he suggests “the shadow of the fence” as anybody the Crimean Peninsula did not give.

The Soviet Union recovered after the Russian Empire fell apart. And that territorial integrity is strengthened in all possible ways.

After the collapse of the USSR, the Peninsula remained part of independent Ukraine as the Autonomous Republic. Ukraine the results it recognizes and considers the Peninsula temporarily occupied territory. In the European Union and the United States Russia’s actions called annexation, in respect of a number of politicians, businessmen and companies imposed economic sanctions.

Wrote on 14 July the state Duma in the first reading adopted amendments to the Federal law “On countering extremist activities”. The changes enshrine in legislation a ban on the alienation of Russian territory.

During the discussion of the bill Volodin urged the Communist party to repent, noting that “once the country is already lost.” The politician said that the outcome of the Communist party was “the biggest exclusion areas” and the collapse of the Soviet Union. He also expressed the opinion that the adoption of the law “will cool a hot head.”
