In his speech, Alexander Abramov outlined the main features of the Swedish market, as well as the nuances of marketing and advertising component that you should consider Russian businessmen in contacts with foreign partners from this country.

Russian trade representative made an overview on almost all possible subjects of economic activities in the country, noting the most promising areas of cooperation, in particular, the supply of wood pellets (pellets – approx. “RG”) to the Swedish market. Russia today is the largest foreign supplier of this type of biofuels on the Swedish market. In 2019 in Sweden consumed about 2 million of wood pellets, of which 1.5 million tonnes was domestic production, its 260-270 thousand tons were imported from Russia. According to the Russian trade mission in light of the state policy of Sweden by subsidized renewable energy market to expand and has promising prospects for Russian companies.

“All Swedish companies are oriented and come in the selection of partners according to their relationship to the environment. Putting the relationship to the environment in the first place, including in relation to potential partners,” said Alexander Abramov, speaking about the peculiarities of cooperation.

As explained in the Ministry of industry and trade, the project “Ask the trade” is implemented in the framework of the National project “international cooperation and exports”. Meetings with trade representatives will be held online on a weekly basis, with the order of their conduct can be found on the project page in social networks.
