Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke by telephone with Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko, the politicians discussed cooperation between the two countries in the fight against coronavirus infection and its consequences, the press service of the Kremlin.

In the course of the conversation touched on “some aspects of cooperation between the two countries in the fight against coronavirus infection and its consequences”, reports RIA “Novosti”.

Also Putin and Lukashenko “in the context of the upcoming June 24 in Moscow the festive events devoted to 75-th anniversary of Victory in the great Patriotic war”, emphasized the special significance of this anniversary “for the peoples of the two countries, keeping the sacred memory of the heroism of soldiers and toilers of the home front”.
