MOSCOW, 10 June. /TASS/. In Russia there are no oligarchs — businessmen who use their money to influence politics, I’m sure press-Secretary of the Russian President, Dmitry Peskov.

Thus he on Wednesday responded to a request to comment on the words of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, who has previously referred to “the money of Russian oligarchs” in the context of financing the opposition in the Republic.

“We don’t know about some Russian oligarchs, about their existence” — said the representative of the Kremlin. He recalled that the oligarchs are called entrepreneurs, with political aspirations and a desire to use their money to influence policy.

“I do not know about the existence of oligarchs in our country, this is the first. And also know that they something would be engaged in Belarus, is the second”, — said Peskov.
