MOSCOW, June 22. /TASS/. Russia has no territorial claims against its neighbours. About it to journalists was declared by press-Secretary President, Dmitry Peskov, commenting on a number of statements by Vladimir Putin, who said in an interview for the film “Russia. The Kremlin. Putin” which was shown on Sunday the TV channel “Russia-1”.

“No, Russia has no territorial claims on its neighbors”, — said Peskov.

Peskov said that the President said in the movie is not about the territorial claims of Russia, and that the amendments to the Constitution are needed in order not to repeat the mistakes of the USSR Constitution.

“He wasn’t talking about gifts. He spoke about the previously approved system errors in the Constitution, which did not provide for a range of situations, a number of developments which would have negative consequences for our state”, — said the representative of the Kremlin.

Press-Secretary the Russian leader added that “the President did not say anything about whether there were any remaining [ at the Russian territorial claims to the former republics of the USSR].

“He talked about the miscalculations in the Constitution, the last one,” he said. Peskov refused to elaborate on the gifts which countries Putin said. “I leave it without comments”, — he said.

however, he said that the Russian leader nor in any way suggests that something territory can secede from Russia today.

“No, absolutely not” — he said and stressed that the amendment prohibiting the alienation of Russian territory, it is a step in order to exclude from the Constitution the system failures of previous versions.

Peskov urged journalists not to turn the briefing into a meeting of the working group on amendments to the Constitution. It is recommended to seek clarification of the meaning of a particular proposed amendments to their respective authors.

“I think that you can one of the initiators of the amendments easy to handle and to reason with them on this subject”, — said the representative of the Kremlin.
