Yellow level weather danger is declared in Moscow and the Moscow region because of the storm on Friday. About it reports hydrometeorological center of Russia.

According to forecasters, potentially dangerous weather is forecast in Moscow from 09:00 to 18:00 on 19 June in the area from 09:00 to 21:00.

Previously, forecasters warned of Muscovites about the 32-degree heat on Thursday. Such weather may be a record for 125 years. June 18, 1895, the air warmed up to a maximum of 31.3 degrees.

Meanwhile, on the eve the weather in Moscow broke the record of 1956. On 17 June at the capital’s main meteorological station ENEA 13:00 recorded 29.6 degrees Celsius. Thus, this day was the hottest in the last 70 years of observations.

Doctors recommend heat as little as possible to be in the sun, avoid physical exertion and to drink more carbonated water.

However, in the weekend weather in the capital region will begin to impact active cyclone from the Northwest will bring to the city the cool weather. Intermittent thunderstorms, clouds and precipitation will limit daytime heating. On Saturday the temperature will be about 24-26 degrees Sunday, the thermometer drops to +22 degrees.
