He reminded that from 1 July 2020, Russia has introduced compulsory labelling of drugs and to give respite to manufacturers and importers in the state Duma did not consider it necessary. All market participants have sufficient time to establish the process of labelling.

Difficulties arise in connection with the introduction of quarantine measures and closures. In particular, some foreign companies working in Russia, did not have time to debug the marking. Therefore, in the state Duma, and I think it is important point to solve problems.

“We propose to amend the law “On circulation of medicines”, which would allow the unrestricted importation and introduction into the civil turnover of products, which was issued before 1 July 2020. In the case of foreign producers that will stall marking, they will be able to replace it at the expense of the product, which was produced earlier and which, from our point of view, can legally be distributed and sold in Russia legally without marking”, – said Andrey Isaev.
