HBO has begun active work on the prequel of one of the most popular series of modernity “Game of thrones”, which got the name “dragon House”. This information is confirmed by reliable sources in an interview with the publication the Insider.
Even before the official Declaration several fan blogs of the show announced that the new show will fall a novel by George Michael called “the dance of the dragons” and spread the news about the start of casting for the role of his daughter and wife of Viserys I Targaryen — the Targaryen Raniry and Alicante Hightower. The authors of the blog said, and the approximate date of the start of the shooting — according to them, they will begin in 2021.
Insider Sources at HBO confirmed that casting is indeed underway, but did not specify what kind of novel will form the basis of the script of the prequel. They also began to disseminate information about the site of the shooting, but added that “the dragon House” will be released until 2022. The film can be greatly delayed because of the pandemic coronavirus, which prevents complete filming process. While it is known only that the showrunners of “Game of thrones” David Benioff and D. B. Weiss will not participate in the production of the prequel.
Recall that back in October 2019 HBO representatives announced the launch of the prequel to “Game of thrones” entitled “the dragon House”, which will consist of 10 episodes.
