Belarussian President Alexander Lukashenko said that his country has had to “go to extremes” to fight the pandemic coronavirus.

“You remember my these jokes then do not know what made. The type of tractor will be cured. You don’t yell, don’t racket, better bath go. Well jokingly so it was said. But it was nonsense farther, which is, you see, a mad and does not know how to treat people. Although these phrases were very serious things,” — said Alexander Lukashenko at a meeting broadcast by the STV channel.

According to Lukashenko, the success of the Republic is that the health care system “not collapsed” by the influx of patients. All the criticism the Belarusian way is, as I am sure the leader of the country, “bluff”, because nobody knows what will happen next. Lukashenko noted that Belarus is not afraid to show their statistics. “Across the country we do not see the seriously ill”, — assured the President.

Today, June 8, he said that the chosen path has helped Belarusians to “avoid extreme scenarios”. “We have shown that there is such Byelorussia. She strong, wise, powerful, and can cope with the pandemic”, — assured Lukashenko.

He is sure that COVID-19 brought the entire planet “to psychosis”. The Belarusian President noted that the fight against coronavirus is not finished.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Belarus officially revealed 49 453 cases of coronavirus. Lukashenko to fight COVID-19 decided not to impose restrictions, criticizing them for neighbouring countries. The authorities also decided to cancel the may 9 Victory day parade.
