Moscow, as the center of Russian industry, relies on the development of innovative modern and environmentally friendly industries. Today, a third of the enterprises operating in the city, which produce, among other things, food, clothing, shoes and other goods, belong to high-tech. This was announced by Vladimir Efimov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations.

For example, since 2015, a robotic complex has been manufacturing eyeglass lenses at the Moscow company “Aycraft”. Automation allows you to speed up the production process and reduce energy consumption.

The robotic system is also used in the food industry. So, at the Moscow bakery plant “Cheryomushki”, the robot bakes cheesecakes: independently shapes the dough and puts the curd filling into it. It produces 18 cheesecakes per minute — that’s 1080 pieces per hour. The robot was assembled at one of the Moscow enterprises.

In addition to innovative technologies, the capital’s companies are implementing environmental initiatives. So, for the last few years, the Moscow Oil Refinery has been carrying out a large-scale modernization. The company has already reduced its environmental impact by 75 percent, and by 2025 plans to switch to completely waste-free production.

Innovative solutions are also offered by construction companies. In 2023, a plant for the production of oversized modules of apartments “Monarch” will appear in Moscow. There are no analogues of this plant today. The apartments will be built directly at the factory, and then on the spot in a short time to assemble the future house from ready-made modules.

In Zelenograd, the Krost company will erect the country’s first “quiet” plant, where construction materials of wide application will be produced. Such enterprises do not interfere with residents, because they do not make noise. Moreover, a park, an exhibition area, a museum, a cafe and scientific laboratories will appear on the territory of the plant. Logistics will be organized in such a way as not to burden the transport infrastructure of the area and minimize the number of passing trucks during the day.
