In a post on Twitter, WhatsApp announced that the time window will now be extended to just over 2 days. That’s a huge leap from the previous time window of just over an hour.

For this to work, however, all users must have the latest version of WhatsApp installed. In the next few days, however, all users should have installed the latest version via the automatic update.
