Corentin Tolisso is set to leave Bayern Munich. The Frenchman, who has often been injured in recent years, has to look for a new club. Most recently, Bayern are said to have surprisingly thought about further cooperation – but that failed because of Tolisso’s demand for money.

“Offer of mercy” from Bavaria? He came for 41.5 million euros, he leaves for zero euros. Bayern’s transfer balance at Corentin Tolisso doesn’t just look bad from a financial point of view. In terms of sport, the Frenchman was never as strong as the Munich team had hoped. Now the farewell of the 27-year-old is certain – but as reported by “Bild”, Bayern recently thought about making him an “offer of mercy”.

Eleven million demanded? Because Tolisso, who moved to Munich in the summer of 2017, was constantly injured and therefore has problems finding a new club, Bayern are said to have been willing to keep him at a reduced and performance-related salary. But: It didn’t get that far because Tolisso wanted too much money. According to “Bild”, he demanded eleven million euros a year, previously it was said to have been six to seven million.

Tolisso has to search: Now Tolisso, whose market value fell from 45 million euros to 15 million euros in the five years at Bayern, has to find a new club. There are rumors about Fenerbahce, the traditional Turkish club from Istanbul.
