For ventilator Ponomarev connected in the third hospital. He was warned about the consequences of this procedure, and rejection of it, in the end, the man agreed.

"There I was just two days after leaving the previous hospital — fever broke out. She was treated for several days, after which I was transferred to the intensive care unit. And then it turned out that my lungs are not enough for you to effectively continue the treatment. "Matte" darkening and other negative processes," said Ponomarev.

Sensations from the ventilator seemed to him unusual.

"It was quite an unusual feeling. I feel like I was under water. His mouth was stuck a lot of tubes. The weird breathing depends on what I was doing, I felt that for me the machine is breathing. But it me and encouraging — so there’s a chance to help," said the man.

Ponomarev added that communication with the doctors took place either with gestures or with the help of messages, which he wrote by hand. However, even one sentence took a lot of effort. Later he got used to tubes and machines and the need to roll over and lie on your stomach most of the time.
