the Russian Government has accelerated the provision of interest-free loans to small and micro businesses for payroll services. First Deputy Chairman of the RF government Andrey Belousov instructed to expedite the granting of funds to banks for lending to the wage funds of small and medium-sized businesses, in industries most affected by the consequences of the spread of coronavirus infection. In the first phase of the banks that will receive funds from the Central Bank – Sberbank, VTB, MSP Bank, Promsvyazbank, Gazprombank, Alfa-Bank, Open.

Beginning Wednesday, April 8, that the banks will give money to entrepreneurs to support employment. Sberbank and VTB in the beginning of last week have already started lending to small businesses at a salary at 0% APR. Currently, the Ministry of economic development conducts additional selection of banks for a grant.

Earlier, the Russian government approved the rules for providing subsidies of the credit organizationtions on interest-free loans to businesses to support their wage funds, made economic development of Russia, and also approved the draft regulation on allocating 2.6 billion rubles.

As noted by the Minister of economic development Maxim Reshetnikov, the money for the subsidy will be allocated from the reserve Fund. The maximum amount issued to businesses loans will be determined based on the number of employees and minimum wage in the calculation of 6 months that will allow small and micro businesses to have additional salary “resource”. The estimated amount of support will be around 130 billion rubles, the coverage of 1.5 million employees. With 75% of the guarantee Fund will take over the state via the web.
