on Saturday morning should have reminded of so many other of the former cyclist Bo Hamburger.

But a bike ride took a dramatic and unexpected turn when the Hamburger ended up unconscious and with holes in the memory.

he tells This to B. T.

“I can’t remember the last 5-10 minutes, and I also can’t remember the crash,” explains Bo Hamburger.

the Trip went from Copenhagen at Lyngby and on to Hareskoven.

But who reached Bo Hamburger and his classmate Jesper Nordstrøm Meling never.

“Jesper ran to the front. Suddenly, he could see that I was gone, so he drove back for me. There I lay just without consciousness,” says Bo Hamburger.

He can not remember how long he was away.

“I can’t even remember anything from the incident. I also could not know him, Jesper, when I came back.”

He took the Hamburger, which still sat in the bike’s pedals, unconscious and called an ambulance.

meanwhile, the former cycling champion is assigned a jacket of some passers-by, while he was lying there on the ground and waited on the ambulance.

“The last thing I can remember is that we are running over the Nybrovej. We had plotted the routes on our cycle computers and ran after it. So I can’t remember other than the fact that I was tumultuous. It works a little as though that it has been a dream. The next thing I remember is that I lay and looked up at Sarah, who had sat down on the ground and held me,” says Bo Hamburger and admits that he was worried.

The 49-year-old Hamburger has a theory that the front wheel of his so-called gravel-bike (a bike that can be used for both gravel and road, ed.) got stuck, so he went to the left out of his bike head first without reaching to take off.

He escaped with some broken bones in the left hand, which could possibly lead to a surgery.

What he finds out on Monday.

“Right now I’m just tired. I have fallen down a little and drowsy,” explains Bo Hamburger at home from his bed.
