The Chinese company Xiaomi has introduced the Xiaomi MiGu headband, which will allow users to control the elements of a smart home with the power of thought, the ITHome portal reports.

According to the company, MiGu Headband is the project that won the third Xiaomi Group online hackathon. The device will allow users not only to control a smart home using brain waves, but will also be able to track fatigue, for example, while driving.

The MiGu Headband developers have equipped the bandage with three sensors that read the electrical signals sent by the brain. In addition, the gadget is able to conduct electroencephalography of the user.

Whether Xiaomi MiGu Headband will go on sale is not reported.

Previously, “Gazeta.Ru” said that Xiaomi introduced smart glasses with a Micro OLED display and the ability to shoot videos. The gadget is equipped with a 50 MP wide-angle camera with electronic image stabilization, as well as a periscope telephoto lens with a 5x zoom of 8 MP.
