President Alexander Lukashenko has declared that is not going to stop the economy of Belarus and impose a quarantine in the country while his “push back”.

Today the Belarusian leader rested from yesterday’s work day. He communicated with residents, officials and businessmen of the Gomel region, BelTA reports.

“We need to think about what will happen to us after this will go pandemic. I felt it two months ago,” – said Lukashenko.

He explained why he decided not to stop economy.

“the economy Stopped, all stopped, for example. Who will rise – he who prints the dollars, who has the resources. And the rest will be where? So I decided the economy can’t stop. Companies need to work” – said Lukashenko.

He also noted that if need be isolation, quarantine, curfew – they will be introduced. But “now that our people don’t.”

“We are somebody pushes back. Let’s quarantine! Lukashenko’s so-so! There is no such need. Although we do not deny that and we have people hurt,” – said Lukashenko.

The President also said that will not give the regions money, and they should not wait for state aid, and “to study the markets.”

“If you sit, "That’s a pandemic, give us the money"… Nobody will give is to bury the money. You study your markets in all areas – ranging from porcelain factory and finishing "Gomselmash"” – he advised businessmen and government officials.

On the eve of the “Rambler” reported that Lukashenka arrived to the Chernobyl zone, where he participated in the clean – up work on the territory of national Park “Pripyatsky”.
