Corona makes stop at nothing. The more important it is to stand together!
Therefore, we have launched more than six hundred members of the Digital publishing house Burda forward – the care action “#corona care”. On our portals such as FOCUS Online and CHIP of a we network for four weeks millions of people: those who need help with those offering assistance. Federal Minister of health, Jens Spahn supported our Initiative, and also celebrities such as music legend Peter Maffay and actor Heiner Lauterbach.

On good Friday we launched the song “Victoriam” (accusative of “Victoria”, Latin for victory) out. In two weeks the success of composer Christoph Siemons, under the existing output and contact block created a hopeful anthem, lavishly produced with more than one hundred musicians: “the victory of The humanity is the victory of life,” it says in the song.

“Victoriam” is a tribute to the huge social commitment in our country. Each Download supports the non-profit “boards,” and thus thousands of needy people. Burda forward makes no profit from the song, but it helps with the proceeds. This is because the “panels” currently have massive problems: Many of your volunteers are retired and belong to the risk group. You are not allowed to assist in the distribution of food. At the same time, food donations have plummeted. Due to the stock purchases, the supermarkets can donate less to eat.
