MOSCOW, 30 April/ Radio Sputnik. In the outlying Prague district of Reporyje (Řeporyje) began to erect a monument to the members of the Russian liberation army (ROA), reported RIA Novosti with reference to the warden (the head) of the district of Pavel Novotny.

ROA consisted of collaborators under the leadership sided with the Nazis, General Andrey Vlasov, who fought in the Second world war, the German Wehrmacht against the red Army. Soldiers of the army received the name “Vlasov”.

the Decision to erect a monument Novotny announced in November 2019. According to him, by ROA was liberated in may 1945, the then village of Reporyje about Prague. This idea after a long discussion supported the majority of his colleagues in the local authority.

He announced that a commemorative plaque would cost 153 thousand euros (about 6.1 thousand of dollars).
