Tom Cruise was filmed performing his own nail-biting stunt during ” Mission: Impossible 8″.
Cruise, 59, climbed from the cockpit of a 1941 Boeing B75N1 Stearman Biplane at 2,000ft and sat down on the wing. Cruise then dangled himself upside-down from the wing. Cruise was able to hang upside down from the plane, and the plane turned upside down so Cruise could sit upright on the wings.
Cruise was attached to the plane with a harness during the stunt.
