the Founder of Tinkoff Bank, Oleg Tinkov announced his intention to donate part of his fortune to the decision of problems of blood cancer and the establishment of the institution of blood donation in Russia. This billionaire said in his account Instagram.

“I know that the help is needed very much in our country. So I along with my family decided to establish a “family Foundation Tankovyh”. (…) We are just starting to work in this direction, big things are still ahead,” Tinkov wrote, adding that the project will deal with his wife Rina.

the Billionaire said that the Fund will be created as soon as next year — while the wives are collecting all the necessary information.

“the Fund will attempt to solve global problems promote bone marrow donations to fight blood cancer and try to change complex legislation in the field of transplantation. This will save thousands, not just a few lives. Until then, I’ll restore your health, gain strength and accumulate the necessary knowledge in this field”, — summed up the founder of Tinkoff Bank.

Earlier in July, Oleg Tinkov told about surgery for bone marrow transplantation, which was forced to go because of cancer. As the banker noted, prevalent in society many stereotypes about bone marrow transplant, but in reality the operation is a blood transfusion that saves a life.

last year, Tinkov was diagnosed with leukemia, he reported several months later. For the treatment of the businessman went to Germany, where he underwent coronavirus infection. In early April, he announced his retirement as head of Tinkoff Bank.
