Member of the joint staff opposition, the ally of the candidate in presidents of Belarus Svetlana Tikhanovski Maria Kolesnikova addressed the gathering at government House by protesters. She spoke about the demands of the opposition.

According to her, the main demand is the resignation of the President of the country Alexander Lukashenko. The video of her performance posted on YouTube-channel publication Tut.by.

Our main requirement is that the former President should resign! she said.

The politician noted that it is also necessary to immediately stop the violence.

26 years of nightmare must end, he will drown in violence. This must not continue, — said Kolesnikov.

She also said that opposition politicians will submit to the court in connection with illegal actions of law enforcement officers. The application for initiation of criminal cases on the facts of the death and abuse of them will be filed August 17.

In Belarus for several days of mass protests. On the streets thousands of people who disagree with the official results of the presidential election on 9 August, after which it was announced that the Lukashenko’s victory.

According to the CEC, the current head of state Alexander Lukashenko voted for 80.1% of the vote for his main competitor Svetlana Tikhanovski to 10.1%. People are confident that these results were rigged.

The protests are accompanied by stringent detention.
