Press Secretary of Russian leader Dmitry Peskov commented on a photo the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov with a gun.
He noted that “Russia has laws that strictly reglamentary possession of firearms”.
Peskov explained that “if the possession of a firearm by a citizen of Russia, and it does not matter who you are — an ordinary citizen, Governor or President if you have a weapon in accordance with the law, and if it was, and you have a right to the possession or carrying of weapons, no problems with it”.
Earlier, the US Secretary of state Mike Pompeo announced that the state Department has made Kadyrov in the black list.
From the decree follows that the restrictive measures are introduced “because of Kadyrov’s involvement in serious human rights violations in the Chechen Republic”.
Later Kadyrov reacted to this statement Pompeo.
“Pompeo, we accept the battle! Next will be more interesting!”, — said the head of Chechnya in his Telegram channel, with this post a photo with a gun.
Kadyrov also invited Pompeo in his ancestral village.
