Bolshoi theatre, Russia’s first appearance in the “Chersonese Taurian” at the festival of Opera and ballet. This was reported today by the press service of the Museum-reserve.
the Festival will take place from 29 July to 2 August. Planned five concerts under the open sky on a specially constructed stage, repeating the Bolshoi theatre in Moscow.

– Open platform of festival not only supports the global trends of the summer open air performances, but also allows us to maintain our performances in the current situation, – the press service quoted the General Director of the Bolshoi theatre Vladimir Urin. The concerts will consist of two parts: Opera singers will perform arias and duets from the works of Russian and foreign composers, and the ballet will present “Carmen-a Suite” Bizet-Schedrin, choreographed by Alberto Alonso – play, born by the will of the great Maya Plisetskaya.
In the Opera parts will perform singers from around the world Igor golovatenco, Dinara Alieva, Anna Aglatova, Oleg Dolgov, Anna Nechaeva, young soloists Yulia Mazurova and Behzod Mr. Davronov. In addition, on stage will be young talents – trainees Svetlana Lachin, Alina Cartas, Konstantin Artemiev.
Among the ancient ruins of Chersonesos will include arias, duets, ensembles from operas by P. Tchaikovsky, N. Rimsky-Korsakov, S. V. Rachmaninoff, melody by J. Offenbach, G. Rossini. Verdi, G. Donizetti, F. Lehar, And F. Cilea.
