The second season focuses on Joe Exotic’s life after his imprisonment

” Tiger King – Murder, Mayhem and Madness”, which was a huge hit on Netflix in 2020, has now been renewed with a second season.

The first season followed Joseph “Joe Exotic”, Maldonado Passage’s story up to his 22-year sentence for murder-for-hire against Carole Baskin.

The second season explored whether Maldonado Passage is innocent as he claimed repeatedly, and other questions that were left open after the first season.

Here’s a look at the current status of the stars of “Tiger King”, now that the second season has concluded.

Maldonado Passage, also known as Joe Exotic, is currently in prison serving his 22-year sentence for participating in a murder plot against Carole Baskin.

Allen Glover, hitman-for hire, didn’t carry out the act. He flipped the script in season 2, maintaining Maldonado Passage’s innocence.

Former zoo owner asked for pardon from President Trump, and now Biden is urging him to do the exact same.

He maintained his innocence in a letter he sent to the New York Post. He also claimed that prison workers made it difficult for him to communicate with the media.

Recently, he was transferred to North Carolina prison to receive treatment for his prostate cancer.

Carole Baskin

Maldonado-Passage’s enemy, Carole Baskin, is still running Big Cat Rescue She’s not happy with Netflix series, however.

Baskin published a huge blog post on her website entitled ” Refuting Netflix Tiger King” after the premiere of the first season. Baskin addressed segments of the series she felt implied her involvement in Don Lewis’ disappearance.

She refused to take part in the second season of the show, and attempted to stop Netflix using any footage of her for new episodes.

Baskin rose to fame in 2020 and was featured on ” Dancing with the Stars.”

Mahamayavi Bhagavan “Doc” Antle

Another big cat enthusiast known for a sensational wildlife park, Mahamayavi Bhagavan “Doc” Antle is still running The Institute of Rare and Extremely Endangered Species(T.I.G.E.R.S. ).

Last year, Antle was seen on stage with Britney Spears in a cage during her 2001 VMA performance. At the start of the performance, he could be seen in a cage alongside Spears as well as a “liger”, which is the result of the breeding of a female and male lion.

Jeff Lowe

Jeff Lowe, a businessman, appeared in “Tiger King”, when he became co-owner of Maldonado Passage’s failing Zoo. Lowe was left in charge after Maldonado Passage was eventually made an owner.

Lowe has been in a few legal troubles since then. His zoo was raided by authorities , and he was arrested for DUI.

The government took large numbers of Lowe’s animals when his park was raped.

Lowe offered to provide audio recordings of conversations between federal agents concerning Maldonado Passage to the former owner of the zoo in return for his help getting their animals back. He told TMZ.

John Finlay

John Finlay was married for many years to Maldonado Passage. However, viewers soon learned that he was straight and have since parted ways.

Finlay and Stormy have a Facebook page called ” The Truth About John Finlay”. Here he updates his life with regular updates, including a new set of teeth.

Rick Kirkham

Rick Kirkham was responsible for developing a reality TV series based upon Maldonado Passage. He also spent much of his time at his zoo. He lost all the footage he had accumulated in a fire.

A Facebook Page which appears to be Kirkham tags Bodo (Norway) as his location as well as his wife Kristin E. Rosay Kirkham.

Erik Cowie

Erik Cowie, one Maldonado Passage’s employees at Maldonado Zoo, has died. He was a part of the filming of the first season of “Tiger King.”

The late zookeeper was 53 years old when he died in New York City on September 3.

Fox News was last month informed by the New York City Office of Chief Medical Examiner that Cowie died naturally and that the cause of death was “acute and persistent alcohol use.”
