Soloviev was diagnosed after the NYT article about Putin

MOSCOW, 14 APR — RIA Novosti. TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov called stupidity and schizophrenia article in The New York Times in which the author accuses the President of Russia Vladimir Putin “undermining institutes of health” in USA and “spreading misinformation” about the coronavirus.

Previously, the newspaper published an article titled “the Long war of Putin against the U.S. science,” which stated that the Russian leader “through its agents” allegedly trying to “discredit” the officials of the US healthcare system and “facilitates the spread of deadly diseases.” According to the author, a science journalist William Brod, Russia took advantage of the situation with the pandemic coronavirus to “sow chaos and division”. He doesn’t bring any serious arguments and references interviews, articles, news stories, tweets and TV shows.

Commenting on the publication, Soloviev has advised American publications to see stories of their own TV channels and pay attention to “the horrors that grab other American media” and read what they say “trump and Republicans”.

the TV host called accusations by The New York Times vulgarity and stupidity.

“This is a manifestation of schizophrenia. I act as the therapist and handing out diagnoses to everyone until the person who wrote it in The New York Times. Where to go? You have to register the facts of severe mental disorders,” he told the newspaper “Vzglyad” .

Solovyov said that the American media based on the logic that “all around the Putin’s spies and they destroyed the American science.”

“But seriously, none of the Russian media in America do not undermine and do not fall apart. We simply show what is really happening in different countries of the world,” he concluded.

the American media and the top leadership of the United States has repeatedly accused Moscow of “misinformation” without any evidence. So, in early April, U.S. Secretary of state Mike Pompeo said that Russia, China and Iran are spreading false information about the coronavirus, but did not provide any arguments.
