From June 9 to 12, a big water festival for children will be held, dedicated to the 350th anniversary of the birth of Peter I and the Day of Russia. On the water base of the Moscow City Children’s Marine Center named after Peter the Great of the Moscow center “Patriot.Sports” the participants will have a historical reconstruction and a concert, master classes in sailing, drawing, tourism, sports and creative competitions, boating and regatta.

The holiday will begin on June 9 at 12:00. Guests will see a historical reconstruction dedicated to Peter the Great, a concert program with performances by children’s creative teams and invited artists, participate in master classes on walking on the Optimist boats and other activities.

On June 10, the guests of the holiday will become spectators of the start of the sailing regatta, which will last three days. Participants will compete in sailing on the Optimists. According to the results of the races, the winners will be determined, who will receive valuable prizes.

On June 11, the expedition part of the educational and tourist project “Along the path of Great Discoveries” will begin. The descendant of the legendary discoverer Marat Bering will take part in the ceremony.

The four-day water festival will end on June 12, the Day of Russia, with the final stage of the sailing regatta and master classes on sailing boats. There will also be an award ceremony, a flash mob and a concert.

Every young participant of the holiday when registering on the website of the Moscow center “Patriot.Sports” or when registering directly on the site on the days of events will receive a map on which the activity zones are marked. On all days, children will be able to play sea battle, small towns, table tennis and football, compete in tug of war, knitting sea knots, throwing lightness, pass quizzes on knowledge of astronomy and Morse code, shoot in a shooting gallery, play laser tag, participate in master classes in drawing and tourism.

In addition, the “Safety Laboratory” space will work on the territory, where children will be able to learn the rules of the road in an interactive format and test their knowledge. After participating in five activities, the children will have the opportunity to mint commemorative coins with the symbols of the water festival.
