Promises to disrupt the completion of the construction of the “Nord stream — 2” Ukraine only fulfills political points, while risking to spoil relations with Europe. This opinion was expressed by Russian politicians.
So, the Deputy of the state Duma Viktor Vodolatsky stated that the statements of Kiev talking about Ukraine’s desire to burn bridges with Russia and friendly countries of the CIS. The Ukrainian authorities run the risk to spoil relations with Europe, which supports the construction of “Nord stream — 2”.
In turn, Deputy Alexei chepa urged not to take the threat of Ukraine seriously, because the project “Northern stream — 2” — in the interests of Europe, as it will reduce gas prices.
“Not interested in USA because of competition and the theoretical possibility of sale of its liquefied natural gas to Europe at an inflated price and Ukraine, which simply fulfills the political aspects, playing up to Washington,” quotes his words RT.
Senator Alexei Pushkov has compared the threat to disrupt the construction of hysteria. He recalled the statement of Kiev about the readiness to stop the transit of Russian gas.
“All the “Nord stream — 2″ is haunted? You said: Kiev is ready to “zero transit” from Russia. That’s not hysteria, and be ready,” — he wrote on Twitter.
on April 29 the Chapter “Operator GTS of Ukraine” Sergey Makogon said that he sees no reason not for Gazprom to renew gas transit through Ukraine after 2025, and promised to make every effort to disrupt the implementation of the “Nord stream — 2”.
Earlier Wednesday, the expert of the Financial University under the government of the Russian Federation Igor Yushkov told “Izvestia” about the main obstacles in front of the “Northern stream — 2”. According to him, apart from the problem physically to finish the gas pipeline “Gazprom” will have to take it under actions of the third energy package.
