For nine months of 2022, resident enterprises of the special economic zone (SEZ) of Moscow transferred 2.8 billion rubles to budgets of all levels, the Deputy Mayor of Moscow said issues of economic policy and property and land relations Vladimir Efimov.

Almost 1.2 billion rubles were allocated to the city budget, and about 1.6 billion to the federal budget. The largest part of payments for three quarters was provided by the sector of microelectronics, optics, robotics and industrial automation — more than one billion rubles.

Residents of the special economic zone are entitled to significant benefits. Companies are exempt from paying property, transport and land taxes for 10 years. The income tax rate for them is only two percent — these funds go to the federal budget. Residents can also rent land at a reduced rate. In addition, the Technopolis Moscow SEZ has a free customs zone regime. Thus, for the first nine months of last year, its residents saved 857 million rubles on taxes.

Technopolis Moscow SEZ is a territory with a special legal status, in which there is a preferential business regime for investors. The area of five sites (“Printers”, “Alabushevo”, “Micron”, “MIET”, “Angstrom”), where high-tech enterprises of the SEZ are located, exceeds 223 hectares. The total area of the production buildings is 550 thousand square meters. The volume of investments of companies that have localized production on the territory of the SEZ of the capital exceeds 87 billion rubles. Technopolis Moscow SEZ has been becoming the leader of international and national industry ratings for several years.
