Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the government to optimize the flow of foreigners applications for Russian citizenship, freeing them from unwarranted expenses on this procedure. The corresponding order published on Friday on the Kremlin website.
"to Analyze the existing procedure of foreign citizens admission to citizenship of the Russian Federation and the cost of services of organizations authorized to facilitate the registration and filing of such statements, to prepare proposals on optimization of these procedures and the elimination of unjustified costs for applicants ", – reads the list of instructions following the meeting of the head of state on 30 July with the working group on preparation of amendments in the Constitution.
According to the Commission, these proposals should be elaborated by the Cabinet of Ministers jointly with the administration of the Kremlin in the framework of the activities of the working group on the implementation of the Concept of state migration policy of the Russian Federation for the years 2019-2025. The President of the Russian Federation the relevant proposals should be submitted before October 1, stated in the document.
