Vladimir Putin said that the fight against coronavirus infection will be carried out persistently and consistently. About it reports TASS.
"It (the struggle. – Approx. ed.) we will continue, and we will do this persistently and consistently, will do everything to protect the lives and safety of our citizens," Putin said.
The head of state added that the response mechanism for the spread of the coronavirus have been timely and well developed. The President noted that he must remain at the same high level.
Earlier Putin signed a decree on rewarding physicians for their contribution to the fight against COVID-19. By presidential decree, the order of the Pirogov will reward the citizens for the provision of medical care in emergency situations, epidemics, hostilities and other circumstances involving a risk to life.
In addition, the mayor pointed to the professionalism of physicians during a pandemic COVID-19. The mayor expressed the hope that the pandemic will finally be overcome and all hard on the country because of her problems.
The mayor also noted that over the past week, a decrease in the number of cases of coronavirus. According to him, also reduced the number of hospitalizations and severe patients on mechanical ventilation.
In recent days in Russia revealed 6 693 new cases of coronavirus. Moscow accounts for 745 of the identified cases in Moscow oblast – 301. The country identified 647 849 cases of coronavirus.
Clinical trials of the Russian vaccine has already started, it received 18 volunteers in Sechenovskiy University. At the moment the subjects reported that their health condition and after administration of the drug have not changed.
